
Mike Vaccaro has been the lead sports columnist for The New
York Post since November 2002. Previously, he has worked as a columnist at
the Newark Star-Ledger, Kansas City Star and Middletown (N.Y.)
Times Herald-Record. He was also sports editor of the Northwest
Arkansas Times, and when he was appointed to
that position in 1991, he was, at 24, the youngest sports editor at a daily
newspaper in the United States.

in 1989 as a reporter for the Olean
( N.Y. ) Times - Herald, where his
primary beat
was St. Bonaventure
basketball.
He appears
as a regular guest on
a number of radio and television
programs.
Vaccaro is a 1989 graduate

St. Bonaventure. He and his wife,
Leigh, live in Hillsdale,
N.J.
